Mount the unit with a screw indoors and run the sensor probe outside the area that occupies the unit. This will allow the unit to obtain separate readings from the two different areas. (Ex. Mount the unit on the outside wall of a grow room and run the sensor probe into the garden area. This will allow you to record readings without having to enter the actual grow area.)
By pressing the designated MAX‐MIN buttons you can check the temperature and humidity of both the unit location and the area housing the probe. The memory will show the corresponding maximum or minimum temperature and humidity levels of the period from the last reset on the relative display.
Resetting the memory: Press the appropriate RESET buttons once to erase the memory, it will then begin a new period to record readings.
For Fahrenheit and Celsius conversion, use the switch located on the back of the housing.
Use one 1.5 Volt AA Battery (included) to supply power to the unit.

CAUTION:
• Avoid direct contact with water to the unit housing. Failure to do so may result in damage to the electrical components.
• Although the sensor probe is considered weather proof, it is not recommended that this probe endure long durations of exposure to direct water contact.
