| PEANUT MEAL Description
Peanut meal is a by-product of the U.S. peanut oil industry. Oil is extracted from non-GMO peanuts and the leftover meal is then pelletized and crumbled into a flowable dust-free consistency. Peanut meal typically contains 8 percent total nitrogen(pretty good for natural fertilizer) (~5.5 percent water insoluble), 1 percent available phosphate, and 2 percent soluble potash.
Peanut Meal can be used all by itself or in combination with many other natural fertilizer agents like kelp, alfalfa meal, rock phophate, cotton seed meal, greensand etc.. and, in fact, it often is in these combinations when found in organic fertilizers like what we sell here at Dirt Works.
Peanut meal can be applied with a drop spreader or broadcast spreader but will go down more evenly through a drop spreader.
We sell peanut meal in 50lbs bags individually or by the pallet of 40 bags per pallet or loose tons(totes) Call for wholesale pricing and delivery.
