Nitrex Liquid Organic Fertilizer

Finally, A Soluble Source of Natural Nitrogen for Hydroponics and soil that is OMRI listed.

The Tomoatoes, Brocolli and Melons in the tray to the right were started in our peat pellet kits. After only one week of growth I had to take the pellets and tranplant them into the little hydroponic soil pots and tray system using Intervale Starter Mix because they had gotten so big already. I watered them with Neptune's Harvest Fish Fertilizer and Nitrex a couple of times. The plants you see are 12 inches tall after only three weeks of growth and ready for the garden before they get any taller. I'm sold!

Nitrex is an organic-based, biologically enhanced, highly soluble source of natural nitrogen that is very effective at delivering usable nitrogen to plants in soil and hydroponics. Nitrogen is mainly responsible for leaf and stem growth and essential to production of enzymes, chlorophyll, and amino acids. Nitrex can replenish nitrogen used or lost from frequent watering in hydroponic and soil based systems.

Nitrex is a great product for greenhouse sales operations. You can give all your plants a little shot of Nitrex just before they sell to insure the plants are strong and healthy when people get them home.

It's hard to find omri listed nutrients for hydroponic gardening so Dirt Works is making an effort to find and list as many quality organic nutrient solutions we can find for those of you who are engaged in hydroponic gardening and farming. Most hydroponic solutions can be used in soil and soilless media too.

Mix directions on the label say this: 5 - 7 ml/gallon as needed.

For home gardening and smaller growers you can mix it up in a watering can and apply every two or three weeks as needed.

For field use you can mix 1 gallon to every 20 gallons and treat 20 gallons/acre. For stronger batches mix up to 1 gallon/5 gallons of water and stick to 20 gallons per acre. For vegetables using a drip irrigation system or soaker hose maximizes the yield per gallon instead of just spraying it on and feeding the weeds too.

For field crops like wheat, apply after planting the seed and you can irrigate after sprouting if you have the equipment to get back out there again or an irrigation system of some type. For light maintainance mist as necessary for foliar feeding.

Rule of them is" It's better to fertilize more often with less than less often with more!
