Fall standard for open-pollinated Broccoli varieties. Compact 20” plants with 6” dark blue-green heads followed by a heavy yield of side shoots. Developed to withstand the increasing cold of fall maturity, does not head well in summer heat. Compact 20” plants with 6” dark blue green heads and medium sized beads, followed by a heavy yield of side shoots. Developed in 1951 and considered the standard open pollinated fall broccoli. Germination in 7 to 10 days. ~74 days to maturity
