Early Wonder Tall Top Beets
One of my favorite garden vegetables to grow and eat. I've grown these in every weather condition and picked them early and late and they tast good at any time of the year. They aren't so prone to getting pulpy like other beets and they can live through droughts, heat, floods and cold. Attractive arching tops make perfect early beet greens and also bunch nicely for bunching beets. Roots are slightly flattened and mature earlier than any other variety. 1/16 ounce, ~ 80 seeds, Sows ~ 15’ Tall vigorous green tops with maroon veins. Quick emergence in cold soils and attractive tops make this a great early season variety for greens as well as 3" dark red globes. 20 days greens, 45 beets
