Application
The best time to apply these components is in Spring and early Fall. If your lawn is really whipped in the summer, you can apply it all then too but, you'll have to be diligent about watering, to keep the new seedlings growing and the fertilizer and other ingredients activated through the hot weather. Water in the early morning and evening, not in the heat of the day. Soak the soil but no so much that water runs off of it. Plants are under a great deal of stress during the hot days of summer, so, it's best to work on them when it's cooler. Mild, heavily overcast days can work too, so long as you know it's going to stay like that all day. Same strategy for mowing applies too.
It doesn't matter a whole lot what order you put these ingredients down in. but, just so you don't get the Milky Spore all over your shoes when walking around doing the rest of the work, either, put the Milky Spore down first and water it in, and apply everything else the next day, or, put the Milky Spore down last and then water the whole business in. The Milky Spore won't hurt you but, it's white powder and will track in the house and car from your shoes.
Also, if you have compacted soil or clay, you might want to rent a core aerator and aerate your lawn before you apply the products in your kit. This allows the fertilizer, nematodes and Milky Spore to get down into the root zone much more quickly and go to work right away.
