Most universities aren't very progressive when it comes to organic agriculture so, their recommendations for fertilizer, soil amendments, pesticides and the like may be a little suspect. They get their money primarily from the same corporations that make the synthetic chemicals they promote so, there's more than a little conflict of interest going on there. So, get what you can from it and call us with any questions you may have.
