Coir Planting Chips

Some tips on what to use this stuff for?

Coir Planting Chips can be used in a variety of ways. Use indoors for houseplants and tropical plants or outdoors as mulch. Use as decorative ground cover. They retain water and resists fungus better than bark mulch and each block is easy to carry and store.
Each lightweight block equals more than 2 CF of mulch when you break it apart with your hands.

Use the coir planting chips for mulch when planting trees and shrubs. Put them right in the hole with your compost and fertilizer to make a slurry and then just plant the tree, using the mixture to backfill with as you go. Or, mix up all your ingredients in a wheel barrel with water and add them to the hole.

Here's a kit you can use to plant any tree up to 1.5 inches in diameter. If you have good soil to begin with you can split the kit between two trees. Or if you have multiple small trees and shrubs divide it between them.

Buy an extra bag or two of chips and use them for mulching around the trees too. It looks really good and lasts all season.

Coir Planting Chips make fine looking, long lasting surface mulch in a variety of settings. They have great color and due to their chip size and density they last the whole season long.
