Dirt Works Proudly introduces these Biodegradable Utensils and food service products as our way of continuously looking for ways to help you and the earth live together in harmony and possibly bring forth a more sutainable, peacefull world.
Today we are living in a false economy where the price of goods and services does not include the true cost of waste and pollution. We've been living like this for a long time and it's now catching up with us. As Alvin Toffler states in his essay, "The throw Away Society", there is no such thing as "AWAY" in "Throw Away". Everything eventually finds it's way back to us. Plastic is showing up on our beaches and whole islands of floating plastic trash are killing life in the oceans and us along with it.
Tater Ware™ products are made with a GMO free bio based starch and 100% biodegradable. Heat stable to over 300 degrees F, Tater Ware is moisture resistant and suitable for both hot and cold beverages.
Tater Ware is micro-warmable allowing products to be reheated in a microwave.
Tater Ware meets ASTM (American Standard Test Measurement) and FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for biodegradable products. Used along with our Biodegradeable bags you can have a "eco-picnic" and compost everything you use!

Made from GMO-free potato starch, biodegradable "Spudware" utensils are excellent for hot foods such as soups.
Slightly coarser than plastic, these tan-colored utensils are dishwasher safe. And, with a shelf life of 5 years, there is no reason not to reuse them.
Outperforming plastic in boiling and microwave tests, these utensils will biodegrade when you want to get rid of them.

Part of a revolutionary new line of foodservice packaging that provides a more environmentally sensitive alternative to traditional disposables. Sourced from fully renewable resources, these cups use a corn-based plastic as a moisture barrier rather than a petro-chemical like the cups you probably use everyday right now!
This new PLA-based coating also makes the cup compostable in municipal and commercial composting facilities. Combined with a smaller manufacturing energy requirement, the ecotainer™ hot cup reduces our environmental impact while providing all the functionality of a standard cup. Your customer's won't be able to tell a difference, but the environment will!
- Requires less energy to produce
- Made from fully renewable resources
- Certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute
- Compostable in municipal and commercial composting systems
